My Jada Jazz Shop is finally open on etsy! I’ll be posting here whenever I have a new piece to offer in my shop. I also hope to keep it interesting by adding comments about the process of creating each artwork, including inspiration, materials, and new techniques. Here’s my most recent etsy listing, which I’m offering as a 5×7″ print.
I made this from a photograph I took when I was in San Francisco a few years ago. I drew it with a micron pen, with no pencil sketch beforehand. A difficult task, to be sure, especially when trying to capture the nuances of perspective and architectural detail. I colored it with watercolor as soon as I’d finished it.
